How you can become a successful Entrepreneur (II)

MANAGING BUSINESS PROBLEMS
As you now know that problems are part of business organisation and running, there is a need to manage them positively. During our research, we came across some principles which can help African entrepreneur to be successful.

1- Stop underestimate problems
You have great potential power as an entrepreneur to cope with business problems creatively. You don't manage problems effectively because you do not pay serious attention to them. You must avoid the temtation to underestimate the seriousness of problems that on the surface may appear slight. Never underestimate any business problem. You must realise that the business difficulties you are experiencing have been face by millions of entrepreneurs. What you have to do is to tap potential solutionsto resolve the problems. Remember that, your positive reaction to the problem will determine the positive outcome. Positive mental attitude is necessary  when dealing with business problems. by doing so, you then turn the problems into creative experiences. What you see at the end is the scars turning into stars.
2- Avoid exaggerating business problems
Are you closing down your business? If it is so, then that is not the end of the world. You can start over again. We have seen many entrepreneurs falling down and getting up again so many times.
Ask yourself, what is the worst problem that will happen to me? Can I handle that? If you play it down and pray it up, God will give you the ablity to cope with the worst. Avoid exaggerating the depth, the length, and the breath of your business problems.
3- Action pays
After trying all possible avenues and have planted as many seeds of solutions as you can, do not sit back and wait for your problem to solve itself. many business problems have the built-in capability to develop more serious with the passing of time. To wait for someone to come to your rescue could give the problem time to multiply its negative fallout.
African entrepreneur should know that, they are personally responsible for managing their business problems. Act as soon as you have solutions to solve your business problems.
4- Stop the blame game
When problem show up, the normal reaction of people is that they feel threatened by the problems, and threatened people become angry people. Anger aggravate problem. Entrepreneur shoul not get angry over problems, if they do so, they will never solve them. EnterpriseAfrik is urging african entrepreneurs to avoid blaming third party for the source of their business problems. Don't fix the blame, fix the problem. When entrepreneurs begin to fix prblems, they begin to have control over their negative emotions( anger, fear, ...).
5- Be smart
Get smart by asking yourself some questions:
What really is my problem?
Is it lack of money to meet the needs of my business, or is it mismanagement?
If you think your business problem is financial, think again. Is it really financial, or or is it a problem of managing  your organisation resources? You probably need to eliminate waste in your expenditure. Some expenses have to be cut down or completely eliminated. Remember, nobody has a money problem, it is an idea problem.
African entrepreneurs must know that, they need to identify their business problems, what the problems will do to them if they don't do anything about them. They must decide on their response from from al the options, and then must execute and act on the most positive option.
6- You must be a decision maker
When all the positive reactions are considered, you must decide on the positive action. you don't have a problem to solve, you just have a decision to make. Business problems persist when entrepreneurs lack the courage to make the right decision.
7-Communication is key
Do you want to quit , pack up and run away from your business, your company? Then seek assistance out. Don't excommunicate yourself from the assistance that is available. Do you need business advice and guidance? Please go for them. There are a lot of enterprise foundations, business advisory groups which are available and waiting to listen to you. African entrepreneurs must join business clubs and associations, community group and share their dreams, hopes and needs with others. You'll be surprised at how assistance will come to you and your business problems will be managed.
8- Isolate yourself from negativity
Entrepreneurs must maintain a positive mental attitude to stop the influence of negative thoughts that constantly surround us. They should avoid engaging in negative conversations and avoid the use of negative expressions like Not Bad; I have got to see it before I believe it; No way;...in their business communication and negotiation. For solutions always lie in the positive thinking.
